Notes
Tips for making baked oats:
- Try not to overcook the baked oats as they become dry.
- You can use any type of yoghurt, including flavoured.
- You can use frozen or fresh berries for the recipe.
- You can swap the mixed berries for other fruits and nuts. Apple, raisin and cinnamon and banana, almond and honey are favourites in our house.
- I love serving things like this in cute little ramekins, love me some miniature bakeware! These onesfrom Amazon look perfect.

Made this morning! Soooo good! My twins didn’t want it but I made the 3 serves and separated into 4 serves.Reply
I forgot to add- I baked them at 220 degrees Celsius for 22 mins and the consistency was very cake-like; moist and nice, with runny raspberries. Slight browning on too also. It did stick to my dish however, so i recommend using oil to prevent stickingReply
I eyeballed the proportions and used a 49g oats sachet and the consistency turned out amazing. I used egg whites (maybe 50ml?) and also added baking powder, which I think helped it rise quite a bit!
In conclusion i think you don’t need to measure out the ingredients if you want to save time ! Frozen raspberries worked very nicely for me also.Reply
My new favourite breakfast! I used gluten free oats and it worked perfectly. Stirred through some frozen raspberries and had yoghurt and maple syrup on top – delicious. Thank you, Sarah! The only problem is my husband is stealing them haha.Reply
Have to admit, I’ve never really been a big fan of baked oats but when I stumbled across this recipe, it looked so delicious that I had to try it. I used frozen blueberries instead of mixed fruit. It was so easy to make and turned out lovely. I served it with a bit of yogurt and a drizzle of honey. Delicious! Will make it again.Reply
Had it for breakfast lovely would recommend the recipe to anyone.
Thanks so much for sharingReply
If using apple, do you cook the apple first please?
Do you have rough quantities for apple and raisin or apple and cinnamon? Something new to try! 😋Reply
